An individual history records the life of one special person. However, that individual’s life usually involves others, i.e., parents, siblings, husband, children, and/or or other important people who may also be included. A transcription of the memorial service talks and prayers is a significant addition to the personal history of a deceased person.

Grandma was a writer. She wrote letters, journals, lists and stories.  Grandpa was a talker.  He could talk your leg off for hours, but wrote nothing but checks.
